Following his wish to bring his unique Aikido to the world and his launch of the International Yoshinkan Aikido Federation in 1990,  Shioda Gozo's Yoshinkan Aikido international presense exploded from 28 dojos in 7 countries to 420+ dojos across 56 countries in 2024.  This is in addition to the growth to 80+ dojos in Japan.  Globally many tens of thousands of students and instructors are now supported by a wide variety of vibrant organizations and affiliations.
